Jump training for basketball - box jumps, plyometric training

Even at the age of 37 I was training similar to when I was 19 and in college. Box jumps is a great way of training your muscles (posterior chain) to get the maximum lift in basketball games.

This set was done with max effort in mind. In other words, a few seconds rest between jumps.

If you are a basketball player make sure you incorporate this training during preseason. The gains will speak for themselves.

Box height 1.3m @Doherty's gym Dandenong 2014.
